While this might be intended, you can use Slow Falling to make the Elytra glide more time. This can break Maps that have Slow Falling and Elytras, just beware. Unless its a map when you need to use the elytra to avoid walls with Slow Falling to make you start finely. You will crash into a wall.

How to reproduce

1. Take an Elytra and a Potion of Slow Falling
2. Drink the Slow Falling potion
3. Use the Elytra
4. Imagine someone is keeping to yell at you "Cheater" because you have a Slow-Glide activated
