I must not be the only one, who wanted to play some minecraft today but stumbled upon the updates, that came with today's joke. After 20 minutes of searching I've found a temporary way to disable it by editing .minecraft\versions\18w11a\18w11a.json to contain the normal assetIndex and assets "1.13" and to launch the game in offline mode.

I would like to ask you guys to make this april fools' thing toggleable in some way, which can be easily accessible from the launcher or from the game.

I don't care, if it's for a single day of a year, let us choose over keeping the joke updates for the whole day or disabling them, but don't force it on us.
