It does include details for where the affected entity/entities were teleported. To reproduce on a flatworld:

1. Teleport to the origin: /tp 0 10 0
2. Spawn a pig: /summon pig
3. Teleport to face the pig: /teleport @p 0 10 0 facing entity @e[type=pig,limit=1]
4. "Teleported redstonehelper to 0.5, 10.0, 0.5" will be printed in chat

The feedback text is adjusted accordingly if an entity is teleported to. However, there is no mention of the facing argument.
