I just recently started playing vanilla again, after playing some mod packs on twitch, and updated all of my profiles and got the newest version of java.When making a singleplayer world, everything works fine, even typing in chat works normally, generates very fast and has a smooth 60 fps. When I go on a server (Skycade and Hypixel), everything seems to work fine...until I open chat. Typing in any more than about 5 letters will freeze my screen, but only my side. Chat still goes on, my animals still move, etc., but I can not close chat, move mouse, or open settings. When I alt+tab out of Minecraft, everything with my keyboard works fine, and I can type like normal. Using a different keyboard, reinstalling Minecraft, dedicating more ram, and even a hard reset on my computer, does nothing. The longer I stay on a server, I may be able to shove a few lines of text in there, but then it goes right back to where it was at the start. Trying any other solutions from other forum posts don't do anything either, and I'm thoroughly peeved because trading and communicating is crucial to me and the way I play multiplayer. After retesting, this will only happen on multiplayer, no matter the player count, single player is completely fine.Thanks in advance.
