What I expected to happen was...:
I crafted a painting on my crafting table and placed it on the wall, expecting it to place a random painting as it did before I updated it to Minecraft 1.5.

What actually happened was...:
I placed the painting and it showed in my inventory that the painting was used, but the painting wasn't on the wall.
Upon restarting the game, it then showed the painting where I had placed it. But if I were to break it and place it down again - I had the same issue.

Steps to Reproduce:
1 craft a painting
2 place painting
3 notice how painting leaves inventory and doesn't appear on wall
4 restart minecraft
5 painting appears
6 break painting and try to place it again
7 repeat
