I was building a room and spawned villagers inside and they all crammed into one corner. At first I thought there was a mob they were running away from so I dug in the walls. I was digging at the corner the villagers were in but they were diving in front of it like they were saving it. I dug a hole in the wall eventually and some fell in and as soon as they did, they either didn't move or they wanted to go back to the villagers making it impossible to do anything. I set the difficulty to peaceful to clear all the mobs but they still stayed in the corner! I looked on Reddit and an article guessed it might have something to do with the breeding script or a "ghost script". Can it be fixed please?
