Issue can be reproduced by performing the following steps:

1.) Assign character a status effect (such as regeneration) and specify HideParticles to true

      ex: assign @p minecraft:regeneration 1000000 10 true

2.) Walk within range of an active beacon that also provides regeneration
3.) Allow the regeneration effect to be applied to the character now in range of the beacon
4.) Walk out of range of the beacon
5.) Wait the allotted time necessary for the beacon's regeneration effect to elapse and wear off.
6.) Particles are still assigned to this status effect. Issue replicated.
