Confirmed
I made a "clock" using a sticky piston and a block of redstone. The block of redstone powers the sticky piston via redstone wire. The sticky piston pushes the block of redstone away from the adjacent wire to break the circuit. This makes the sticky piston retract, pulling the block of redstone back and powering the circuit again. This will repeat indefinitely. I added a repeater on the shortest delay possible to see how it would affect the clock.
What I expected to happen was...
The delay provided by the repeater would make the piston extend and retract slower (more time between extension and retraction).
What actually happened was...
The piston pushed the block of redstone and retracted without pulling it back.
