My game crashes whenever I try to launch a Single Player game. It gets to the "Building Terrain" screen, does nothing for 5 seconds, and then crashes, giving me this error:

Error: java.lang.IllegalStateException: failed to create a child event loop

Now, I know you've probably seen this error before... but before you redirect me to another thread, I want you to know that I have no antivirus on my computer at this time. Like, I don't have Avast or McAfee, or anything (as far as I know), so I don't know why I'm getting this error. I spent most of yesterday trying to find a solution, but I've found none. I have recently factory reset my PC, and I didn't reinstall any antivirus. I tried disabling my Firewall as well, but I still got the same error. I also can't access Realms, which gives me a different error that I've attached below.

After some testing, I've found that I am able to play version 1.8.9 for some reason, but anything after that will just crash. Playing the latest version of 1.11.2 will give me the child event loop error. Is there anything I could possibly do to see if maybe something is there blocking Minecraft or Java and I just don't know about it?

I just bought Minecraft yesturday.
