Introduction

In 17w14a the "excited" easter egg was added. This changes your current language to "Pirate Speak" when you type "excited" in the crafting help search bar.

The problem

This easter egg can be considered too game influencing. The reasons for that are listed below.

Not temporary

This easter egg is not temporary meaning every time you type "excited" for whatever reason you have to go to the language settings and change your language back.

This makes it very likely that some people will not like the easter egg and instead be annoyed by it.

Difficult to reset

It can be pretty difficult to reset the language when you do not understand the language. This is probably more difficult for new players who do not know the positions of the buttons by heart.

Limits modding and custom translations

A big problem arises when mods have items with the word "excited" in them or the mod name contains it. The same happens when a resource pack changes item translations to contain the word "excited".

Both makes it pretty annoying to search for the affected recipe.

Conclusion

It would be great if the easter egg would be replaced by something which is guaranteed to remain hidden so resource packs or mods are not able to increase its appearance drastically.
