Hello, i wanna tell you about some big problems w/ russian (and ukrainian) translations.
I think those two basic ideas, will show you the problem:

We typed "Привет", but then we get "Ïðèâåò", that's why we using "npuBeT".
and
Everybody hates 8x16 fonts >_<

Let's start from fonts.
All (99.9%) hate them!
Today, i just started modyfing the glyph_04.png thing, so it looks better. But i'm failed... (Well, now i know that it's not 16x16 symbols

Ok, now let's talk about that smiles. ЪЫЬ letters can't start word. So they can't be capital. Most people (i mean't all, because font was same for all unofficial translations) used Ы as and Ь as . In 8x8 font they both included (as well as normal ones).
My variant also includes: ІіЇїЄєҐґЁ (in ALL russian translations (as i said fonts was same) there was no capital Ё).

So, what i'm (and many (99.9%) others) want? make russian and ukrainian fonts 8x8 (using given template)!

There is almost nothing to say. Just wanna give you two links that shows how translations worked before (and after) 1.1.

In Windows russian is messed up, unlike the MacOS.
So just fix it, and all will be happy
P.S. i CAN copy-paste letters one by one, but not type it in.
