Animated Water/Lava Freeze, then Resume

I am a texture pack maker, and when I was making my animated lava/water, I made sure to have the width be twice what the size my texture pack was. (I have a 128x texture pack meaning the width was 256x) I made sure to have the main texture in the center, with a half on each side.

However when the lava/water flowed, it would randomly freeze for a few seconds depending on how many frames of animation it had (in my case my water had 64 and my lava had 234, so the lava froze for a longer period of time)

I managed to "fix" this issue by placing in a blank properties file for each of the flowing textures, this is fine with the water, but looks very awkward with the lava. For the lava I cut the number of animations from animations 0-233 to 0-116, but the animation cycle no longer matches up with that of still lava.

My properties file for the flowing lava looks like this when the glitch occurs. And my water (prior to sticking with a blank properties file) looked the same, however only up to 63*2.

      0*2
      1*2
      2*2

      ... Numbers inbetween

      220*2
      221*2
      222*2
      223*2

I will upload the texture I am using for flowing lava, it is 256x29952 and has 234 frames of animation for a 128x texture.

      Thank you in advance =)

The fate of the Wind Waker texture pack lays in your hands! Haha. =)
