Hey all. So for the past few weeks I have been having issues with other player skin textures and the textures of heads spawned via command blocks on multiplayer servers. For example, If say there was a head spawned in to look like an apple, all I would see if the default Steve skin. My skin had not worked until very recently, and the skins for others appear as Steve for me as well.

to try and fix this, I have spent hours looking at other posts reporting problems similar to mine, but none worked. they all appear to be made at least a year ago as well, which does not help my situation. In addition, I completely deleted and reinstalled the client, made sure my java was updated to the latest version and the right bit, and I even opened up the default pack to see if any of the textures were buggy. After doing all of these, the problem still persists. Everything else seems to be running smoothly, but only this "bug" is driving me insane.

My skin appears as Steve until presently. I wanted to see which versions of minecraft this issue was linked to, so I started in 1.7 and worked my way up. in 1.7 and 1.8, this issue does not exist.However, in 1.9,1.10., and 1.11 the texture issue appears to be on all servers I join. It seems to be that logging into a 1.8 server fixed my skin for the other versions, but that strange solution doesn't appear to work for the heads

If you guys have any idea what the issue may be or a way I can fix it, that would be appreciated. I've been struggling with this for weeks and its really getting the best of me.
