Chicken Takes Unnecessary Damage (again)
What I expected to happen was...:When a chicken jumps through an ordinary hole in the wall, I expect it to do so easily, no harm.
The hole is a block higher from the chickens original position. The hole is only 1x1 in a wall. There are no dangers around the area. I'm on single player, so no server side lag.
What actually happened was...:When the chicken jumped through the wall, he took a quick hit of damage.
I led him in through a room with seeds, and when I put the seeds away and let him roam, he jumped into a hole in the wall and took damage. From observation, I'm guessing it's a suffocation issue. It only takes damage once. This issue cropped up in 1.10, and while it says the issue is fixed, it seems to still take damage in the snapshot. This time, instead of constant suffocation under a block, they take it when they jump up to it and the damage shortly stops.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Build 3x3 wall with a hole in the center.
2. Grab seeds.
3. Lead chicken through hole.
4. Watch chicken take damage.
