I put on an elytra and the texture copied my skin, but was quite messed up. If I held an item, the elytra would change texture

I expected the elytra to have its normal texture

When I put on the elytra, the texture of the elytra copied my skin, but in a weird format. Then I held an item in my hand (can be in off hand as well), which changed the texture of the elytra.

Steps to Reproduce:
1.Wear any elytra
2.Go into f5 mode (best veiw is the back) or inventory
3.Observe texture change from when you are holding an item or not
