Steps to reproduce:

• Create an empty text file (with Windows explorer or any other way) in ressource pack in minecraft/sounds/random
• rename to wood_click.ogg (with changing of file extension)
• press a wooden button in Minecraft with the ressource pack active
• Minecraft crashed (Windows says "doesn't react")

This is just one example I tried.
There is no real crash log, only the usual starting minecraft, loading world and saving world.
