I have been closely following everything related to the Minecraft Experience: Villager Rescue Event. And while I was reading the official article, I've noticed that it says Java edition capes will be available to players by The 5th of June 2024, Which is quite odd since 2024 already passed. Here is what it exactly says:

3 -The digital item available under this Minecraft Experience Promotion is for the video game Minecraft Bedrock Edition. The digital item(s) available under this Minecraft Experience Promotion are not available for other versions of Minecraft. An existing subscription or purchase of Minecraft Bedrock Edition and a Microsoft Account are both required to redeem and use any digital item(s) available under this Minecraft Experience Promotion. By June 5, 2024, players who have redeemed a code for the Minecraft Experience Cape in Bedrock will be granted a cape in their Minecraft Java account.
