Sometimes when attempting to comment under a post on the Minecraft Feedback website, the submit button becomes greyed-out and the character counter stays at 0 no matter what is typed in.
I personally first encountered this issue on PC. Switching browser’s and clearing cookies did not help. Thankfully, I found a workaround which involved submitting my comments on mobile (iPhone). This worked for a time but the same problem I had on PC started to occur on my phone as well.
Steps to reproduce:
- Go to https://feedback.minecraft.net/
- Login into the site.
- Navigate to any of the feedback posts on the front page.
- Try to make a comment.
Expected Result:
Adding text to the box changes the color of the "Submit" button to green. The Character counter changes according with how many letters are typed into the text box. Clicking "Submit" actually submits the comment.
Observed result:
Unable to submit a comment as the "Submit" button stays grey, and the Character counter stays at 0/1500. Clicking "Submit" does nothing.
Note: After contacting Minecraft Support on the 25th, I was informed that this issue is a bug that should be reported to the bug tracker. As of today though, I am no longer experiencing the issue on PC, but mobile is still affected.
