I have an issue with updating the game.
Whenever I try to download anything from the official Minecraft site, it fails. I press the download button and it tries to download, but when it actually does, it says failed due to a network failure. I tried it on a different browser and the same thing happens. I also can't update the game either. I tried it on my laptop and it does it perfectly fine on that, but since my PC is windows and my laptop is mac I can't convert the files to my PC to play.

This problem occurred quite soon after I moved to a new place, but since it works fine on my laptop it can't be that it's the internet that doesn't allow it, so it could be something about my PC, but do you know how to help?
