From the initial game screen, my little sister clicked the "Sign in" button,

then was shown the Microsoft sign in screen where she had to enter her email, phone, or Skype. She was able to enter her email just fine, and got to the next screen, which asked for her password, and that worked too. 

Unfortunately, another screen popped up that asked for her to confirm her birthday and country/region, but when she presses the blue "Next" button on this screen (that I've attached as a screenshot), the button press triggers over the birth month selection and refuses to let her continue on into the game.  This bug appears to either be on the mobile app's side, or on the Microsoft login side.  Can you please help me resolve this issue so that she can play Minecraft on her iPhone 5S?
