When I open the Minecraft Launcher there is only a white screen.

(Possibly) Relating to this, I remember buying a game from steam and trying to play it only for it to get a white screen. It only worked when I played it on my friend's laptop.

This leads me to suspect this has something to do with my specs, most specifically, graphics. Even though I updated my graphics card.

UPDATE: So, after looking around in my launcher, it seems that it is actually working, just not displaying it.
