The Start
I had gone to change my skin in Minecraft, it would show for everyone else but not for me (rather singleplayer or multiplayer).
Soon I had realized I couldn't see other players who changed their skins, or new players joining the server I play on.

I tried what I could, going back to the default look, changing skins, messing with settings without success so I decided to reinstall Minecraft.

This reinstallment has failed, I've tried the three download options on minecraft.net as well as the one on mojang.com and lastly another link on cursed to no avail.
Each time resulting upon trying to open the launcher "Unable to update the Minecraft Native Launcher."
I have gone through my %appdata% and removed all files regarding Minecraft including texture packs for it to still not work.
I have also tried restarting my computer as well as restoring it to previous versions. I've also sought to repair the downloads for each link.

After looking at a few tutorials to no success and contacting Minecraft friends about the issue, there was nothing they/I could figure out to do.

Before going to post this, I also tried downloading it in demo version to also no success.

I'm uncertain what the problem is, I'd appreciate a response as quickly as possible though I get that you likely receive many errors a day.
