      Description

      using the command line argument:

      "C:\Program Files\Java\jre7\bin\javaw.exe" -Xmx6144M -Xms2048m -jar "Minecraftdev.exe"

      has no effect on memory allocation and the game is still capped at 1gig. this is the same argument i've been using for versions 1.2.5 to 1.5.2 w/ minecraft.exe instead of minecraftdev.exe. i've tried w/ java.exe instead and it just prints the launcher console log to the dos window. doesn't seem like the new launcher is passing on the arguments the way the old one does.

      maybe the new launcher can have a way to configure things like memory right from the launcher menu?
