I recently performed a system restore because Java was uninstalled and would not reinstall due to a Windows error. Since then the Minecraft launcher would not function. I would double click it/right click and select open/run as administrator, nothing would work. I tried to re download the installer and the same thing would happen. Nothing would happen if i opened it. Java was verified as installed from their website.
