What I expected to happen was...:
I thought my "redstone hopper clock" would have turned the repeater that came after the comparator on and off continuously ( like a clock does )
What actually happened was...:
The hopper item went to each item correctly, and the comparator turned on and off correctly, yet the repeater didn't flash on and off. Now, what I did before putting the hoppers and comparator in was I placed the repeater; yet when I placed it, it's second torch was placed all the way back. So, I right clicked it till the torch went to where it's supposed to go ( thinking that with the second torch to the front there is no delay ) and that's when the repeater didn't cut on and off, just on once and stayed on. So, I was like "Well dang!" then as just a test I replaced the repeater with a new one and noticed that when the second torch is in the back it will work as a clock.
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Place hopper
2. Place another hopper connecting to the first one
3. Replace first hopper with one that is connected to the second one
4. Place a comparator in front of one hopper ( have the front of the comparator facing the hoppers )
5. Place a repeater down behind the comparator ( the front facing away from the comparator )
6. Place the ITEM hopper in either one of the BLOCK hoppers
