I've selected all 2.11.24 versions, as this will be (or is) affecting the latest launcher version which includes these strings.
The mob vote options aren't translatable. Instead, only the string Meet %1$s (#: ..\..\apps\launcher\src\routes\MinecraftLive\MobsDescription\index.tsx:108) is translatable, where %1$s is substituted by a mob's name, which is an issue for languages other than English. Other languages may require the addition of a definitive article (for example in Dutch that would be 'de' or 'het') and/or require a different word form altogether, depending on what comes before and after said word.
Making the mob vote options translatable in full would alleviate this issue. Attached is the screenshot where this string is used. This issue specifically relates to the text on the green button, not the untranslatable text on each panel.
The left column shows the erroneous string; the right column the correct strings.
Wrong | Right |
---|---|
Meet %1$s | Meet the Crab Meet the Armadillo Meet the Penguin |
This fixes the translation issue and, as bonus, also fixes the missing definitive article 'the' in the original.
