Hello,
If you try to run two minecraft instances at the same time, no matter if its on the same Microsoft account or two different ones, this happens:
ERROR
Launching the game failed!
Unable to extract native files.
Error details: Minizip error while extracting: -111
Filename on disk: lwjgl-3.2.2-natives-windows.jar
Path: C:\Users\<User>\AppData\Roaming\.minecraft\libraries\org\lwjgl\lwjgl\3.2.2\lwjgl-3.2.2-natives-windows.jar
Exists: File
This happens on almost all versions, starting from 1.18 and below. I have tried versions from 1.18 all the way to 1.7.10.
The only version this bug doesnt occur on is 1.19+.
It only happens when you are trying to launch the same instance, or the same version twice:
Example: Launching 1.18 two times will not work. But launching 1.18 and 1.17 together will work.
This is NOT a disk drive issue. I only have a C: drive, Minecraft is installed on there, and there are over 200GB of free space.
Doing this (launching the same instance twice) used to work just fine for a very long time. This has started happening literally since just yesterday, or two days ago for me. Its been happening to all my friends too suddenly. So im not the only one affected by this
I suspect that this has something to do with a recent library change? Probably some library change about LWJGL?
But yes this is annoying and should not be happening. I use multiple minecraft instances at the same time to test things and I shouldnt have to buy a whole new machine to do that now.
Please fix
