      The new loading screen with the allay animation causes issues on lower end machines.

      As far as I have been able to test with both the Windows Store launcher and the classical launcher on a low specced machine or a machine with a limited single core boost clock speed upon starting the launcher 2 things can happen:

      • the loading screen fails to appear completely and instead the program window is grey and then after waiting for the sign in you are sent into the main launcher page;
      • the loading screen fails to appear for many seconds while the login process is taking place and in the last few seconds the loading screen animation appears but is very choppy and then you are sent into the main launcher page.

      These 2 behaviours can be seen in 2 of the 3 attached videos. For reference I have attached the recording of how the loading screen looks on a higher end machine (the loading animation appears immediately and runs at a stable and high fps value).

      The correct loading animation without frame drops was experienced on a Ryzen 5 7600X while the issues with the loading screen not appearing or appearing later and dropping frames were experienced on a Core i7-8565U whose boost clock is limited to the base clock at 1.99 GHz.

      As far as I could test by limiting the clock speeds for single and multi core on my 7600X if the frequency of the cpu drops beyond a certain point the same issues I had on the Core i7 appear, of course performance is both a matter of IPC and clock speed however this causes me concerns for lower end devices which may boost high but have a low IPC (like AMD FX processors) or lower clocked modern processors.
