What I expected to happen was...:
there to be a switch for boy (which makes your default Steve), girl (makes it Alex) and other (which makes it random, a new skin or one of the dev's) (on the Minecraft launcher or the web page)

What actually happened was...:
there was no way to switch your skin Wich means what skin is randomly assigned to is permeant.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. use the default skin or go into a offline server or world (sorry if this has already been reported or I'm just wasting your time)
