Many people will favour one game in particular, and this may not be the Java Edition.

The launcher always starts with the Java Edition tab, and there is no way to configure the startup tab.

This can be especially annoying with Minecraft Bedrock, since the Bedrock and Java Edition tabs look so similar, it is easy to forget to switch tabs before launching.

A significant improvement would be to allow a startup tab to be selected (or the ability to opt into starting from the last opened tab) via the Settings.
