Up until yesterday I have been using the downloaded launcher from the Mojang website for Java edition only, and since pursuing the option to gain Minecraft for Windows, I have been unable to successfully log into the new Launcher that was installed from the MS Store. I have attempted to uninstall all instances of the game / launcher and redownloaded from both store and website, both of which are the same launcher now it seems.
I can successfully authenticate my Microsoft login and get past the login screen of the launcher, however both Java and Bedrock edition are showing 'Play Trail' or 'Play Demo' on the green launch button, indicating that it has not verified my ownership of these games.
Looking into the settings account section, under both Microsoft and Mojang it shows 'No Internet Connection' and at the bottom of the launcher it states 'we couldn't connect to the Minecraft services. Try Again' - which I have clicked numerous times and it has not helped at all. Computer is connected to the internet via Ethernet, and I am able to browse and do everything I am usually able to do, except access these games.
The Microsoft Store shows that I own both versions of the game, and so does my Mojang account.
Currently I am unable to do anything apart from play the Demo world, which is not ideal considering I own the games.
