I am trying to start my own server, but the Minecraft Launcher keeps deleting it.
I am trying to make a 1.17.1 server. I copied all of the server files into C:\Program Files (x86)\Minecraft Launcher\runtime\java-runtime-alpha\windows-x64\java-runtime-alpha\bin and agreed to the eula. The server starts, but when I run the client, it refuses to start with 'log is still in use'. I copied the bin folder and started the server again. Then the Minecraft Client fails to start with 'cannot delete java.exe'(this time in the copied folder in the server in it). It is deliberately deleting all of my server files. Attempting to start in in a completely unrelated folder causes it to fail with 'Cannot load server.properties/eula.txt' even though I have a valid server.properties and eula.txt in the same directory as the server. Copying the entire bin folder with the server in it causes the server to fail with Error: could not find java.dll
Error: Could not find Java SE Runtime Environment. even though both are in the directory. I never had this issue with 1.16 servers.
