The Launcher does not load into game
this has happend since i loaded a new computer for my son with minecraft, the new computer is for christmas so i loaded up minecraft on it and checked that it functioned okay running 1.3.7 on win 7 operating system. (this computer has been packed away until christmas)

When my son has gone to play minecraft on our old win vista (which he has been using up until now the softeware did not load onto the game.

the progress bar seemed to load but when the play button appeared at end of loadup the game did not launch and it remained in launcher mode.

Pressed play again and progress bar on launcher appeared already half full but would not quite complete, then it would make play button available, press play and no game.

I have used ccleaner to tidy up my computer and have also tidied up the registry on the computer but this has no affect.

(I think the problem is maybe to do with being registrered on two different opperating system , not sure really.)

I and my son would appreciate any assistance you can offer

I have deleted and reloaded on the vista system but still not working (it definately works on the win7 but i need the vista version to work till christmas).
