Suddenly I just couldn't use the 1.16.5 version for no apparent reason starting on 12th of May which I could since it's release.

I thought it might have been a bug but neither re-installing nor ruing the launcher as an administrator solved it. As of now I can launch versions up to 1.14.4 ant the client stays open as is configured to do, but when using version 1.15 and upwards or the Latest snapshot the game window doesn't even pop and no Windows or Java error window either.

In addendum the launcher closes as well. I appreciate in advance any help or references to solving this issue.
