Skin Library not working

    • my specs are
      Windows 10 Pro 64bit, Java version 8 (build 1.8.0_291-b10) as of this time,

      I have seen for months that the Minecraft Launcher's add to Library option under the skins section of java edition does not work and just shows "Unable to duplicate Skin"

      I only have one skin added to library, but it still doesnt do anything.

      I was hoping if I can know why is this happening, even after reinstalling the launcher?
