When I run the Minecraft Launcher on Pop_OS 20.10 (based on Ubuntu 20.10), it has an error and hangs permanently. The error is:
[Error: 2021-03-17 02:06:06.918652895: SettingsManager.cpp(106)] : Deserializing: * Line 1, Column 1
{{ Syntax error: value, object or array expected.}}[Error: 2021-03-17 02:06:06.918669075: SettingsManager.cpp(106)] : Deserializing: Expected object
[Error: 2021-03-17 02:06:06.918679145: SettingsManager.cpp(111)] Failed parsing main configuration file: .../.minecraft/launcher_settings.json
I have tried killing all minecraft processes and relaunching, deleting my .minecraft folder and reinstalling/relaunching, installing from the official .deb file, and installing from the Pop Shop software manager.
Launcher log, bootstrap log, and launcher_settings.json are attached. I have not edited anything, this is happening with a default installation from multiple sources.
