Unable to Launch Minecraft (Launcher Version 2.2.1864 )

      When I try to launch ANY version of Minecraft, it begins to load, but then gets stuck at a certain point, and will not load any more. 

       

      I have successfully launched the latest snapshot without having to wait. I then tried to launch 1.16.4 and it worked.
