I opened the launcher and noticed that the Optifine installments I have were no longer an option from the main launcher window, so I went to re-create the installment and while the versions were listed under versions in the "create an installment" screen, when I clicked "create" the installment would not show. If I create an installment with the default version of Minecraft then edit the installment to a version of Optifine, the launcher will delete the installment. The same thing happens with my versions of Forge installments as well.
