So, I recently got Minecraft on Microsoft Store on my Windows 10 computer. Everything was fine until I realized I didn't have the currently all the way updated version, I only had "v1.14.60" even though I wanted the full range of updates that we supposed to have already loaded with my game. I tried following a tutorial like the Microsoft error Apps helper directed me to, but his methods didn't work at all. I continued to search for ways to update my Minecraft and stumbled upon Minecraft Launcher. I downloaded it, hearing it was recommended for Minecraft users all alike in hoped that I just needed that and made an account. I saw a Minecraft post on the page explaining how to update your Minecraft if it wasn't working. I will copy and paste their instructions here: "Start by opening the Minecraft launcher. If you don't have the launcher you can download it here. The launcher should automatically show you the latest release. If not, press the arrow to the right of the play button and select "Latest Release". Easy!" I had downloaded Minecraft Launcher a day after I got Minecraft, and so obviously I had to log in, but when it said "the launcher should automatically show you the latest release. If not, press the arrow to the right of the play button and select "Latest Release", " I looked down at and instead of a "Play" button, there was a "Play Demo" button. I spent $30 on this game and I really want to enjoy it after wishing to have it for 5 years! I really hope you get to me and hopefully sort this out. And, if it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you refund me so I can get the Minecraft app on Mojang, and not on Microsoft, if that was the whole problem?
Thanks!
