Linux Mint 19.2 Tina (Bionic), Vanilla installation, confirmed vanilla crashes.
-
Unconfirmed
Confirmed vanilla install.
Cleaned out the entire modified launcher. It was fully cleaned out; .minecraft folder and launcher deleted. Completely rebuilt a vanilla-only installation. It installed Java 11 as it was supposed to. Java 8 remained. Launched launcher, it came up. Launched Minecraft 1.12.2; it loaded and crashed. What was previously reported is still true and accurate for a vanilla installation. MC version 1.12.2 crashed when trying to launch. Please look closely, identify and resolve.
Thank you.
Please refer to bug report MCL-12665 as this is a confirmation of issue.

Using Linux Mint 19.2 Tina (Bionic). Game crashes on every game launch. When it is installed, it installs openJDK version 11 atop of openJDK version 8. Installation does not remove the earlier openJDK version. Game crashes with both versions installed. Game crashes with only openJDK version 8 installed. Game crashes with only openJDK version 11 installed. Game does not launch in Linux Mint 19.2 Tina (Bionic). It would appear there is no Bionic support within the game. And, it would appear that it has not yet been previously reported, reviewed nor resolved. Yet, the launcher does run. But that is all; the game, itself, fails to run... Thank you.
