Basically I have downloaded the new updater for minecraft or a mac clicked on the minecraft button not the application button then signed in it said it was up to date on 1.6.2 (before it was 1.5.2) so I click play and played for a bit
Then signed out the next time I signed in it went back to 1.5.2 with a notice saying 1.6 is Avalible!

*What I expected to happen was for the software to keep on 1.6.2

*What actually happened was was it went back to 1.5.2
Software went back to 1.5.2

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Download new updater from www.minecraft.com/downloads
2. Open file from downloads
3. Click the minecraft sign
4. Check update to see version if it says up to date
5. Click play
6. Play
7.log out
8. Log in
9. Check version
