Exploring throughout Pumpkin Pasture, the map overlay stops loading in any new unexplored land and registers some land as unexplored even after treading through it (Making the outline less visible, rather than a bold white). If this was a programmed in feature, I was unaware.

Update: I checked the "Last Hearth" and at this point the map overlay is completely gone, except for the icons of chests and the exit.
