      The bug

      When closing the settings menu, the pause menu shows up for a short amount of time and then immediately closes again.

      To reproduce

      1. Pause the game
      2. Enter settings
      3. Close settings (either by Esc or by clicking the X button)
        → The pause menu shows up and closes itself without input
