i recently purchased the game and am working with steam to get a refund because i am unable to play with any other person - the reason i bought the game. every time i switch the game mode to "online", upon clicking it i get a "CONNECTION DROPPED" error, telling me i'm not connected to the internet.

this has happened for 5 days in a row. why?

maybe i'll buy again when the game actually works.
