After salvaging a gilded item someone gifted to me, i got 7 gold and the standard text "New Merchant Unlocked! Piglin Merchant" appeared. But the piglin merchant did not appear. I have yet not defeated the arch illager any times, or played any ancient hunts. But I have unlocked the ancient hunt portal. I had 0 gold (and had never had any gold) prior to salvaging the gilded item. Returning to the main menu and coming back to camp fixed the issue, and the piglin merchant spawned.

(Extra note, to gift the gilded item to me, the gifter played a round of MOO on apocalypse+ 6, where i got the enchanted grass)

Steps to reproduce:

1. Create a new character
2. Beat any mission on default V (to unlock ancient hunts)
3. Salvage a gilded item someone gifted to you
4. Check the piglin merchant place
