I don't know how it happened so i will try to describe all the things i did, firstly , i bought the game day one , and since have only played with one character , i recently went back to it to continue the game with my friends , i had some issues , first the laucher didn't recognize my owner ship of the game and the hero pass including the two DLCs so i restarted the laucher and uptadted my game to the newest version , i tried to open the game it crashed multiple time until i gave in and restarted my computer , it worked i could play with my friend and continue on the journey , i enjoyed the new features , merchant weapons and i even gifted some of my weapons to my friends , but then the game room crashed , my friends were fine but i couldn't join in , the game wouldn't load , so i restarted the game multiple times but it was useless so i restarted my computer again and sure it worked for a minute or so but then it was lagging so i gave in and closed the game while still running when i was in camp , next thing i know no character as if my save was deleted , and shure it is , i checked the character files , the file for mine was completely blank , so i don't know what caused it , but what i know is that my character files ended up being completely blank.

PS: in the image what i supposed was my character files is "A6B9D7F747F73AB4AFADFEB7FF7D8B3D" and there is an example of what a character data file should look like generaly
