Ever since the game has released there has been a problem with the way poison damage has worked with enemies, that no matter what difficulty you played on poison would never do any more than 1-2 damage. It used to just be cave spiders but with most of the new enemies using poison damage it's actually become sort of a problem. Please fix this, Im not even sure how this was allowed to happen
