Creepy Crypt provides two objectives at a time. Find The Lost Tome and presumaly Find The Exit (Not sure on that one). If you go straight to the exit without taking the tome, you get softlocked. You can explore around the Creeper Woods area, but once you go to the exit, nothing happens. When you try going back to the Crypt, you're stuck behind a gate. That forces you to just exit the mission and fail.
