Dear Mr/Ms,
A couple of days ago I purchased the Minecraft Dungeons hero edition - Windows 10.
Using the microsoft store I was able to install it. And this installed both the minecraft dungeons launcher and the game itself.
Now the first problem is that even when logged into my account, the minecraft dungeons Launcher only had the option "BUY NOW". So basically I could not use the launcher AT ALL.
But ok, I got around that by just linking the game directly to my taskbar instead and launching from there (or from microsoft store). Unfortunately after a couple of days playing successfully both offline and with friends, I just turned on my PC and the game wouldn't start.
Somehow the game was gone and when I went to the microsoft store to open the game from there, it would only open the Minecraft dungeons launcher, not the game.
So because this made playing the game impossible for me, because the launcher does NOT WORK, I had to uninstall the launcher and reinstall Minecraft dungeons from the microsoft store.
Now it's working again but there is one slight problem: After reinstalling I found out I lost all my progress and had to make a new character. Now I can sit here and argue about the stupidness of locally saved character data while I played with it online with friends, but if this problem re-occurs then that would mean I will lose all my progress again... and again.....and again.... untill someone fixes the minecraft dungeons launcher to actually be able to verify that I bought the game already.
