I haven’t played Minecraft in a couple weeks, but I very specifically remember properly shutting off my game (on Xbox) making sure it was saved, and leaving off in a safe spot during the day in the game. I went to go return to my world and I saw my world “icon”, for a lack of petter terms, was a picture of me looking into the ravine I had left off on previously. The game loaded in fine, and I was back almost at spawn, (nowhere near where I was originally) and I was on top of a tree that was half loaded (cut in half) and I had absolutely no items, except for an blank map, just like I would get if I was a new player in the game. Because I built near spawn, I could see that all of my structures were still there, but I had lost all of my items I worked incredibly hard for (this world is about 3 years old at this point and I had lots of mending and netherite items/Ingots and diamonds on me at the time). I double checked to make sure I hadn’t accidentally loaded in on one of my fiancé’s accounts and unfortunately it was my one and only account I use to play. I’ve had great luck on Xbox and I’ve never had anything like this happen to me before. I have not checked any other of my worlds to see if the same thing has happened to them, but the few others I do have are all outdated so I didn’t want to mess with anything. I’m so devastated at this point and I’m really really hoping there’s something you guys can do to help. Anything is appreciated, thanks much. -Edit: I also had a friend of mine log on (who was mining with me) help me pick up my dropped items if I did somehow die, and he spawned in fine in our original location with all of his items still there, and couldn’t see any dropped items. I wouldn’t have been on long enough for the items to despawn.
